This guy is as good as John Wayne for stating the obvious, briefly!
An illegal immigrant in Polk County Florida who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop ended up killing the deputy who stopped him.
The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range.
Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed.
A state-wide manhunt ensued.
The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area and as soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, offic...ers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times.
Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor undocumented immigrant 68 times.
Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had."
Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what?
The Coroner also reported that the illegal man died of natural causes. When asked by a reporter how that could be since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied "When you are shot 68 times, you are, naturally, gonna die."

Great answers!!! Sounds like something the script writers would have penned for John Wayne - really!
I love it. Thanks for sharing this, John.

Snope confirmed the first part as occurring in 2004 but reported that the "Coroners statements" were doubtful and seemed to have been added subsequent to the originl report.
Still, it makes for a great yarn!
When I was younger, I would have bristled at this and sided with the "liberals." Now, at 53, I am still very much a liberal, but I do understand life and the world so much better, so I am cool with this.
In my city, a middle school teacher in a high crime area, grew so weary of his 8th grade boys strutting and shoving in class that he told them to take it outside and to have a slap fight. The boys slapped for a while and when they tired of it, the teacher made them go on for a few more rounds. The media was furious. My partner, a teacher, was not. She said, "Outsiders have NO idea what teachers go through these days." And I agree.
