Soda Bread III

By Jove! I think I got it!

Absolutely scrumptious with a bowl of warmed up left-over cauliflower au gratin and even toasted up OK the next day for brekkie!

That bread looks good. I just came to you from my brother's blog (Cro) when I noticed your mention of EnZed cousins.

I hadn't heard of Tablelands in N.S.W. just the Atherton Tablelands. My stepdaughter lives near Bowral in the Southern Highlands.

Hi Susan - my "cousins" is a general term we Aussies refer to you lot across the pond lol!

Bread was lovely.

I know Bowral. That's the Southern Highlands. Southern Tablelands start Boorowa/Cowra area and extend south to Albury through Wagga Wagga and West towards Mudgee.

It does look perfect and I know my soda bread. My mother used to bake it every single Saturday....

You've done a great job there, John. That bread looks like it needs to be eaten ...now. With lots of butter. Sue.
