Qiantang River Haining, China's Zhejiang province

10 Oct 2012 - A tidal wave enters the mouth of the Qiantang river in Haining, in eastern China's Zhejiang Province, at the start of the annual International Qiantang River Tidal Bore Watching Festival last week. Thousands of visitors gather daily to watch the wave which can reach up to 8.93 metres high.

That could be quite some wave. And safety doesn't look guarenteed if it does reach its maximum height either.
